This is the model I’m most proud of because it helped me overcome challenges I once thought were impossible. Even though it looks a bit odd, it’s still one of the best models I’ve made. I ran into a lot of problems, but the techniques I learned from Brian Buffet made things easier. For example, I used lofting to quickly create the seat and armrest for the rocking chair. Without lofting, making those parts would have taken much longer and wasted valuable time. I also used the bend tool to curve the headrest and add more detail to the chair. The headrest was the hardest part because using both the proboolean and bend tools had mixed results. The good part was that the headrest looked more lively, but the downside was a small glitch at the top that made it look a bit strange. In conclusion, this is one of the most proud works I have made and the hardest , but using the technique I learn made this model much easier than I expected.

I was inspired to make this model because it was an assignment, but I also learned a lot from the process. For example, I learned how to use a reference photo to map out how the LEGO man would look, and other tools to make my LEGO man look smoother and more like a realistic LEGO figure. The main challenge I faced was learning how to use the bevel tool. It was difficult to master because one mistake could easily mess up the model and make it look odd. Luckily, my classmates helped me out and made it easier for me to understand the bevel tool. I also think the leg on the LEGO figure was the hardest part because it required using both the bevel and proboolean tools. The process was to make a cylinder using the reference photo to get the exact size, make a box for its foot, and bevel those two shapes together. After beveling, you make another cylinder to connect the upper and lower halves of the leg, and use the proboolean on the cylinder to get the part where they can sit down. After learning from these mistakes, I can learn from them and make future projects much easier.

The toy submarine was the easiest of all work, but proud to do it. This model heavily relies on proboolean, as this model may be the easiest, it still had some skills I didn't know I was capable of doing, such as the array. This model wasn't that stressful, but the array was quite challenging because of the scary looking menu, but it's simple to use and nothing to stress too much about. Also, while using the array tool, if you don't have the pivot set correctly, the array tool can bug out, and the front of the submarine looks like a tulip. In conclusion, I mastered the skill of using the array tool correctly and the proboolean tool. These tools can help me with future projects, making them easier to execute and not over complicate things.
