3D Modeling & Animation

I am very proud of this piece because it is the very first 3d model i have ever done, and it turned out better than i expected it to be. This piece is a generic snowman with buttons, a top hat, a carrot nose, and stick arms. I used simple primitives, like spheres, boxes, and cylinders, combined with tools like the scale tool, move tool, and rotate tool to achieve my result. I learned that you can use more than one standard primitive and combine it to get a part, which you can add to your final product. I flattened out a cylinder and added it to the bottom of another one to make the hat.

I'm very proud of this piece because it is much more detailed than all of my previous models. When making this model, I struggled to find how to manipulate parts of the parts to achieve what I wanted. I didn't know how to make holes in specific shapes, but then I remembered to use ProBoolean from previous models. To make this model, I used sub objects and many different modifiers to achieve the result.

This scene is one of my best scenes and I am really proud of it mostly because of the difficulty and the amount of trial and error I had to endure to achieve the final result. I had trouble initially with setting the environment and adjusting the lights and cameras. I later realized I was doing it entirely incorrectly. after repeated rendering and adjusting, I finally got my final result. I used lights, cameras, rendering, and environments to get this result.

Im very proud of how this turned out because at the beggining i was struggling to make the model of my main character. I thought that it would not look good but i rediscovered some old modifiers i used. I had to plane this out for a long time, and it was hard to decide where everything was going to go and how the animation would look. I added different color lights and tried to recreate what i thought a military bunker looked like.

I'm proud of this piece because of the tediousness of readjusting the bones, and changing their weight on the golem. I had to repeatably try and change things every time until i got what i wanted. After that, it was pretty easy to finish the rest of the scene. I rigged the golem, then set him to 3 different positions before rendering each one of them.

This was a major challenge because I couldn't find any textures that fit the shape of the tank. Eventually, I found one that was similar, and used the UVW editor to apply them to my polygons. The actual modeling of the tank was really easy, but I did have fun applying the texture to the tank.
