Congratulations to the following ECHHS students for winning Gold Keys at the Scholastic Art Awards for the Eastern/ Central NC Region: Audrey Dezern, Carolyn Moore and Annette Seo.

Also, congratulations to the following ECHHS students that won Silver Key awards: Carolyn Moore, Lisa Wang and Neal Zheng.

ECHHS Visual Art students are representing the school at the NC State Fair. Six pieces of work have been entered into the Public and Private High School Art competition. Check out the work on display in the Kerr Scott building at the fair from Thursday Oct 17th to Sunday October 27th.

The work on display was selected from Sophomore students from last semester. Work on display includes self portraits in charcoal, a floral oil painting, a mixed media dynamic non-objective piece and two mixed media pieces exploring fantastic juxtaposition.
