This cutscene shows a lab, where a humanoid robot with a theater mask for a face hangs on a stand in a brightly lit laboratory. She is surrounded by tables covered in stagnant flasks of liquid with papers strewn across the tables. Suddenly a light displays in the chest cavity of the robot and it powers on. the liquid in the flasks will start to boil. The robot looks up at the camera and tries to wave before powering off again. The liquid in the flasks stops boiling. the cutscene would be used in a game called Super Nova. which would be about a robot named N05A(or N0VA) is trying to uncover what had happens while she was shut down after finding the once bustling lab in shambles. This cutscene would show her last memory before she shut down and the lab was destroyed.

when making this character i spent a vary long time trying to figure out how i wanted her to look in my head and i just could not figure it out but as soon as i picked up paper and a pencil i was able to figure it out quickly. the problems only reapeard when i went to model the arms and legs because i had not put enough detail into my drawing i had to refighure out how to make what i had drawn so i looked at
Im vary proud with how this character turned out but the part of the robot that i am most proud of the legs. Im proud of them because even though they use a similar disign to the arms the lags and their guards took a vary long due to the the strange shape of the thigh aria. i hope to use this character for future animations even though i think i will probably change the body later.
these props that i made for the animation were designed to make the scene look like a small lab where they would build the N05A robot. in the scene i most like the bubbling flask because even though it is only shown a little bit i am vary proud of its animation. the main challenge i had when making this was organizing the scene. i started with vary little organization so i later had to go back and name all the elements of my scene and this certainly slowed me down. If i were to try to improve how i went about making this scene I would work to be more organized.
when planning the lighting of my scene i tried to make it easier on myself by planning to make the lights vary bright with an obnoxious amount similar to those in classrooms and some doctors offices. the main challenge I faced when doing this was that my original plan to have lights only overhead did not work because it caused all overhangs in my scene to cast an unintended shadow. i fixed this by adding a light that faced into the scene from the side lighting up all the places that were not suppose to be shrouded in shadows.
the part of the final animation that i am most proud of is the main character and their creepy wave. when animating i had planed for the robot to be a little creepy but i think it ended out better than i had previously thought it would have. the main difficulty i had with the animation was that the main character would not animate. i spend several days trying to figure out why and trying to find ways around it but in the end i had to fully unrig it and re rig it.
