My Teaching Philosophy

Welcome to ABC Adventures! I am Teacher Vinice Jovero Cayabyab. I am a Filipino. I am currently assigned at Jian-Sin Elementary School. My role  is to assist my Local English Teacher in English subject and teach Topic English. I also assist in lesson planning and in preparing teaching materials. I will also lead the summer camp this coming July.

As a Foreign English Teacher in Taiwan, I believe that language learning should be meaningful, engaging, and student-centered. My goal is to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels safe, motivated, and empowered to express themselves in English—no matter their current level.

I strive to make English relevant to my students’ lives by incorporating real-world contexts, cultural exchange, and interactive activities that spark curiosity and confidence. I see language as more than just vocabulary and grammar—it's a bridge that connects people, ideas, and cultures.

Understanding that my students are young learners with diverse needs, I use a variety of teaching methods, including songs, stories, games, and hands-on projects, to keep lessons fun and accessible. I also value collaboration with local teachers and school staff to ensure my lessons support both language development and holistic growth.

Above all, I want my students to see English not as a subject to fear, but as a tool they can use to explore the world, connect with others, and discover their own potential.
