Painted Rocks

There are many steps to making a painted rock. If you want to make a painted rock, follow the steps below. Be creative and have fun!

Step #1

First, practice making different designs with paint and your finger print to get the hang of it.

Step #2

Next, find some rocks to paint on.

TIP: Choose rocks that are fairly flat and big enough for what you want to fingerprint paint on them.

Step #3

After you finish collecting your rocks, wash them so they are clean. Then dry them until they are dry enough to paint on.

Step #4

Following that, get some paint to paint with. Choose any color you wish to use!

Step #5

Finally! Time to fingerprint paint! Squeeze some of the paint you'll be using onto a paper plate. Dip your finger onto the plate and put it on the rock.

Step #6

You finished!

TIP:

If you have any rocks you want to draw a sharpie on, do so.
