Regular Meeting: Monday, December 8, 2025 @ 7:00 PM
From Mrs. Gardiner: Just Dance challenge!
From Mrs. Phillips: Peyton Hamilton and Jaccob Helm presented Mrs. Stockwell with a beautiful quilt they made for her son, Lincoln. The students were so excited to create something special to show their appreciation for a teacher who truly goes above and beyond. We are so happy to welcome Lincoln into our CCS family!
From Mrs. Dalton: Anna Dalton and Lexis Sutton attended St. Lawrence University for their Augsbury North Country Scholarship (ANCS) breakfast and events day. The ANCS was established in 1974 and serves to recognize academic and extracurricular leadership among designated North Country and Canadian high school students. ANCS Scholars will receive a scholarship of up to $50,000 for each of their four years at St. Lawrence University.
Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team and coaches on their Section X Class D Championship win!
From Dr. I: The History of Rock and Roll class had a great time at Bokie’s today! It was a perfect place to visit for the start of our 50s rock unit. Thanks to everyone at Bokie’s for helping us organize a great trip.
From Mrs. LaBare: Our college sociology class came up with slogans for their social change project. These kids will change the world!
A nice feature of our Varsity Volleyball team after its 3-0 win over Clifton-Fine.
From Mrs. Rogers: In the Spanish classes, we celebrated Mexico’s independence eating tacos after we learned the history behind it.
From Mrs. Dwyer: Two of our senior students found this tomato hornworm on the sidewalk on the way into school. So of course, they talked our biology teacher, Mrs. Dumont into keeping it. It is currently in the chrysalis stage and will hatch into a hawk moth! Here is the current stage. Science happening everywhere in the high school. Mrs. Dumont was equally as excited as the seniors!
From Mrs. Ashline: One of the Agricultural classes at CCS enjoyed a couple periods, not only harvesting some of the vegetables from the raised bed gardens, but also preparing them for a meal. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, and zucchini were prepared along with some spices to create a delicious stir fry.
From Dr. I: Seniors Lily and McKenna provided music for the Citizens Advocates' 50th anniversary dinner. These musicians did an outstanding job representing our school!
