For our final, tested iteration, we decided to incorporate both of our modifications. This decision was based on camber considerations, which is what both of our modifications were aimed to make more negative. The advantages of a more negative camber is the benefit of greater traction, especially when turning corners (which were expected on our track). It would also allow for better performance at high speeds. However, there were advantages to a less negative camber as well; easier steering, which would be very helpful for us being novice RC Car drivers; more stability on rough tracks and off-roads, and reduced steering sensitivity, which is something we struggled with when driving previously.Â
