Because we worked in groups of three, to form a final block 1.5”x3”x2”, we each made one that was 1.5”x1”x2”. For the two side pieces, we extruded and cut out both a circle and a square, each 0.5” deep but with different dimensions. The circle I designed had a 0.3” radius, while the square had a 0.4” side length.
In my part of the project, I focused on defining the placement of the circle and square. I specified their center positions relative to the nearest corner of the block. The main difficulty was in conveying directions such as “left” and “right,” accounting for the fact that the two side pieces would be mirrored. To expedite such communication, I used Fusion 360’s ViewCube as a reference tool to ensure that we were all working on the same plane and orientation.
