For my final project I'll be making a RC Hot Wheel Car. I chose this project since I've always liked RC cars and for Fab Academy my final project has remote control based features. A successful project would be a small digitally remote controlled Hot Wheel that had a camera display that could be projected to a phone. The project is based off the video by Max Imagination in which he made the RC car aforementioned above. In the project we used programs such as TinkerCAD to map out the electronics, Arduino for programing, Fusion360 for steering mechanism design, and CorelDraw for skateboard design. For tools we used drills to remove the bolt from the Hot wheels, calipers to measure the hot wheel parts to scale them up, soldering irons to make the conversion of the Lippo batteries to work on the ESP,
Program the ESP32S3 Sense to blink
Have the ESP run a simple code to move the servo to a certain degree
Repeat step 2 with a DC motor
Now setup a web server that can control the servo and the DC motor separately
Setup the web server to control both the servo and the DC motor from one control
Add wheels to the DC motor and a steering system connected to wheels to the servo to give the motors something to move
Build a body around all of the electronics so that its able to move around
Do you web server step again but this time for an ESP with a camera attachment on it
Add the camera on to the car somewhere and add batteries to both
*All of this is explained better in the journal entries, this is just a broad overview
