Solder Bridge:
A solder bridge is when two soldering point connect to each other because the solder is put too much on these two points. A solder bridge can cause fire and create an electrical short. One of the method to fix solder bridges is to reheat the solder and melt it. When it's hot enough and becomes fluid, use the solder iron to pull it off and break the connection between the two points. Then the solder bridge is broken.
I did a great job on soldering the two resistors. I made the resister laid flat and I soldered them properly. However, the solder I put on was a little too little so I need to put more next time.
For the two LEDs, the upper one is pretty good. It laid nice and flat. The shape of the solder I put on was great. However, for the second one, I could do better on it. I could make it more flat but it looks fine. The blue circle in the right picture is an example of solder bridge. Solder bridge is formed when the solder is put too much in the hole and the two spots of solder connect to each other. The solder bridge may cause fire so it's very dangerous. We need to avoid getting solder bridges.
The Purpose of Making Lit-up Glasses
The project overall is to make a pair of glasses that can lit up and change the amount of the LED lit up with the volume of sounds like music. The purpose of making it is to learn how to do soldering. A perfect solder should look like a Hershey Kiss. A bad solder is like a bridge because it connects three or more spots of solder, which the whole will not work. More seriously, it may cause on fire. After we finish the project, we will have a pair of nice glasses that can change the number of LEDs lit up by changing the volume of sounds such as music. It is really cool to wear it during pep rally and Homecoming dance!

Steps of making the sunglasses
Step 1 : Insert one piece of 2Mega-Ohm Resistor at R8. I folded the two strings on the resistor over to make it pass the hole. I made the strings laid flat to see clearly where I was going to solder. I heat the solder iron to 750 Fahrenheit and melted solder using it. Then I put the iron to the hole and then put solder near the iron and put solder to the hole. The shape of the solder needs to form a Hersey Kiss to be a perfect solder.
Step 2 : Install 3 pieces 10Kohm Metal Film Resistor at R6, R7, R9. Make sure the resistors are flat.
Step 3 : Install 5 pieces 1Kohm Metal Film resistor at R1-R5. Make sure not getting the solder bridge during soldering.
Step 4: Install 1 piece MIC-6022 Microphone art MK1. Be careful about the positive and negative pole.
Step 6: Install 50 pieces LEDs . The longer legs of the LEDs are positive, and the shorter ones are negative. If the leg is put into wrong hole, the LED would not work.
Step 7: Install one piece 0.1uF 104 Ceramic Capacitor, which is the brick red one with a round head and two legs, at C3. Be sure that the capacitor is fully tugged in.
Step 8: Install one piece ZIP-9 KA2284 LED Driver at U1. The side that has words on it needs to face the resistors. Be careful when soldering the drive because the space between each leg is small. It may cause solder bridges.
Step 9: Install one piece TO-92 S9014 Transistor at Q1. The transistor need to be placed correctly, which matches the shape that shows on the PCB.
Step 10: Install two pieces 10uF Electrolytic Capacitors at C1 & C2. The longer leg is positive pole. Be careful to place the capacitors carefully.
Step 11: Install one piece 10Kohm 103 Potentiometer at RP1. The legs of the potentiometer are thick, so make sure that you tug the legs all the way through the holes. The black sides of the potentiometers need to be in the areas that has been shaded.
Step 12: Install one piece 5Pin SK12D07 Toggle Switch at S1. Make sure that the switch is on the back side of PCB.
Step 13: Install two pieces battery holder positive metal sheet. They need to be on the back side of the PCB as well. The positive sides of batteries will be attached to them.
Step 14: Install two pieces battery holder negative metal sheet. They need to be on the back side of the PCB as well. The negative sides of batteries will be attached to them.
Step 15: Put the PCB intp the plasic frame. Put the switch in the right place.
Step 16: Fix PCB by the Black PA 1.5*5 Screws. Remember: Test the LEDs first, then fix the PCB with the screws.
Step 17: Install the Batteries. Pay attention to the negative and positive poles of the batteries.
Step 18: This is my final product. The LEDs work perfectly. This is how my glasses looks like.
The first picture is when the LEDs are not lighting up.
The second picture is the back side of the pictures. All the excessive parts of the legs of the spares are cut off.
The third picture is taken when the LEDs are lighting up.
The fourth picture is the back side of the PCB when the LEDs are lighting up.

Problems encountered
After I finished all my soldering, the glasses didn't work at first. Then Ms. Morrow helped me find the three solder bridges I made. She used the cutter to cut off one bridge. Then she use a tape like thing called solder removal tape to remove the excessive solder from the other two bridges. However, it still didn't light up.

Then Ms. Morrow asked me to use multimeter, which can measure the voltage of the current, to test whether all the LEDs could light up normally. She also asked me to use the multimeter to test the voltage of the battery. Later, I found out that all my LEDs worked perfectly, but the batteries were broken. After, I put on new batteries, my glasses still didn't work. Then I was told to resolder the LED Driver part to make the connection stronger.
