Using your ambassador link
By signing up as a Niner Nation Gives ambassador, you help make Niner Nation Gives a success and support the causes you care about most. Last year, 175 Ambassadors raised more than $132,000 from 1,109 gifts - making it our most successful celebration of Niner Pride yet!
This how-to will help you make the most of your ambassador link and maximize your outreach during Niner Nation Gives. You'll even be able to set your short URL to take people directly to the donate page for the area or fund you're supporting.
Step 1: Sign up as a Niner Nation Gives ambassador
If you haven't already signed up as a Niner Nation Gives ambassador, you'll need to do that in order to receive your custom ambassador link. Sign up to be an ambassador here.
Important note: Even if you signed up last year, you will need to sign up to participate again this year! The first time you log in, you must enter your email address and click "Sign Up" to gain access to this year's information. Enter the same email address associated with your previous campaigns to be able to reference your previous efforts.
Step 2: Log into your Ambassador Dashboard
Log into your Ambassador Dashboard. Scroll down to the section of the page prompting you to personalize your ambassador link. The page will look like this:
Step 3: Set your referred page
This is where you'll select the fund you want your ambassador short URL to direct people to. You can scroll through or search for the department, group set or program giving page/fund you want to direct people to.
Step 4: Set your short URL
Here, you can personalize the last part of your ambassador link to make it easier to remember and share. Be sure to hit save!
Step 5: Set your personal preferences
This includes your cell-phone number, alumni board/network/council affiliation (if applicable) and social media accounts.
Step 6: Share your ambassador short URL!
