Jakob met Charlie at a Starbucks in Baltimore, Maryland. Charlie had broken his foot in an attack and went to Johns Hopkins Medical Center, where he received world class health care. 

But, Charlie didn't have insurance or the necessary funds, so left without a boot, crutches, wheelchair, or any other walking aid, and continued walking miles a day for free meal at a nearby church. After meeting Charlie, I was inspired to found DME4all for people like Charlie.
