This video was created by the California Association of School Counselors and provides an excellent description of the role of School Counselors in today's world, which is very different than the "Guidance" role of the past. School Counselors provide services to meet the Academic, Career/College, and Social/Emotional needs of ALL students through a proactive, data-driven approach.
