Welcome to the Virtual Stall HS Student Body Officer and Class Elections for the 2024-2025 School year. Please use the following links below (or at the top of the page) to access each of the candidate's resumes and video speeches. Please keep in mind the individual duties of each office and that each of the officers will be planning and implementing all Student Council events for this year.
Class officers will be elected next school year in August. Watch your email for a chance to apply.
You may begin campaigning once you have submitted your application.
All posts, posters, etc must be approved in advance by Ms. Russell. You can text her a photo of your campaign piece at 843-367-1292.
At no time can any of your campaign material reflect negatively on your opponents or on R.B. Stall High School.
You must focus on what YOU have to offer Stall High School and Stall HS Student Council.
SOCIAL MEDIA - you may use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Please keep in mind that you must monitor your social media. You will be responsible for removing anything negative posted on your page. Nothing should have a negative reflection on another candidate, yourself or Stall High School. If your social media reflects poorly on Stall HS or Student Council, you may be disqualified from running. Please make sure your post are noncontroversial, non-offensive and tasteful.
If you make a campaign account, you must follow Stall HS Student Council on Twitter (@RBStallStuCo) , Instagram (@rbshswarriors), and on Snapchat (@shswarriors).
Examples of what to submit:
Schedule and preside over all meetings of SGA;
Call special meetings with the approval of the sponsor;
Maintain the Student Council Website;
Remind responsible parties of action items in advance of the meeting;
Check to see that all participants for the meetings are notified;
Recruit Committee Chairs, Vice Chairs and members;
Represent the student voice to the faculty, staff, administration and community;
Host the Warrior Board;
Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;
In the case of a tie vote, cast one block vote to break the tie; and
Be responsible for all activities of SGA, which includes but is not limited to Homecoming, Coming Home, Blood Drives, and Transfer Socials.
Assists the Co-Presidents in every way possible;
Conducts Student Council meetings if Co-Presidents are unavailable;
Checks on the representatives to make sure that they are reporting to their assigned committees;
Arranges for the meeting place and the physical setting of the room;
Represents Student Council on the Warrior Board;
Meets with all committee chairpersons to review progress on activities and /or projects;
Serves as the Chair of the Judiciary Committee;
Informs the president if visitors wish to be placed on the agenda;
Conducts all club charting activities;
Hosts the Services and Activities Fair; and
Fulfills other assigned duties.
2nd Vice-President:
Assists the Co-Presidents in every way possible;
Represents Student Council on the Warrior Board;
Chairs the Community Service Projects Committee;
Hosts the American Red Cross Blood Drives;
Works with Co-Presidents to conduct the Fall Festival Zombie Run and the Spring Jam's Warrior Fit Challenge;
Focuses on helping the project chairs or serve as the project chairs for the community service projects; and
Fulfills other assigned duties.
Keeps the roll and attendance record of the members of the SGA;
Reports to the Judiciary Committee when any representative has missed three meetings;
Serve as Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee;
Represents Student Council on the Warrior Board;
Keep the minutes of the meetings;
Give a copy of the minutes to the advisors no later than one day after the meeting and reads them before the body at the following meeting;
Maintains the Student Council Website;
Maintain copies of committee reports and assignments;
Keep records and file cabinet in neat order;
Fulfill all correspondence for SGA by typing and sending letters, calling people over the phone, and creating announcements;
Assume responsibility for correspondence on all school matters, writing articles, for the school newspaper, and if possible, local newspapers;
Communicate with other schools as necessary;
Provide written contact via the Student Council website and social media with the faculty, students, and administration;
Post notices of special meetings, to include place and time; and
Fulfill other assigned duties.
Serves as Co-Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee;
Maintains the Student Council Website;
Maintains and promotes the Student Council social media;
Records via photos and videos the activities of the Student Council;
Maintains folders of photos and videos for future marketing;
Provides written contact via the Student Council website and social media with the faculty, students, and administration;
and Fulfills other assigned duties.

Represent the Class on the Warrior Board;
Represent the Class on the Student Council;
Represent the Class on the Student Council Prom Committee (senior and junior only);
Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;
Be responsible for all activities of the Class, which includes but is not limited to the Class Socials, Prom (senior and junior class only); Student Council Class Competitions, and Class Events.
Assist the Class President in every way possible;
Represent your Class on the Warrior Board;
Represent your Class on the Student Council;
Represent the Senior/Junior Class on the Student Council Prom Committee;
Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;
Inform the president if visitors wish to be placed on the agenda; and
Fulfill other assigned duties.
Assist the Class President in every way possible;
Represent your Class on the Warrior Board;
Represent your Class on the Student Council;
Maintains notes and communication on Class Activities to Class Members via a Class Website, Google Classroom, and Social Media;
