Hello Parents!

Welcome to my Parent Information page!

Learning all things "STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) is my passion, and I want to pass on this desire of learning on to all of my students. I believe that our PLTW curriculum is rigorous, yet engaging and is taught with a "hands-on" approach giving ALL students the opportunity to learn and find success while having fun!

I am always excited to teach and learn every year, and I want to thank you all for sharing your young scholars with me this school year; we are going to have a lot of fun learning and building!

I know that there are many parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and older siblings who may work in one of the industries that we are learning about here at Moultrie (i.e., all engineering fields, robotics, architecture, all biomedical fields, forensics, law enforcement, aerospace/pilots, etc.). If you would like to join me in the classroom, lab, or host a field trip with your company, please don't hesitate to contact me and join in as we learn about these exciting careers!

Finally, feel free to reach out to me if you would like to volunteer behind the scences as we have no lab assistants here at the middle school level and I can always use a few extra hands setting up labs, getting handouts organized, making copies, and even working with small groups of students who may need a little extra help with reading, math, etc. As always, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that may arise this school year; I look forward to meeting all of you at some point in the school year as soon as we get CoVid under control.
