Parents

For many children, literacy begins at home at an early age. We recognize that you are a key partner in building your child up as a reader. We want to be there to provide the resources that you need to help your child enjoy reading and to thrive as a reader.

Parent Circulations

Parents are welcome to check out additional books to their child's account. We're here to help you and your child out with book recommendations. Just ask, and we'll be happy to help!

bOOK DONATION POLICY

We try to limit our collection to library-bound books that are guaranteed by our vendors. These books hold up to heavy circulation and multiple readings. Your book donations would be fantastic for a classroom teacher's classroom library. Ask your child's teacher-- she may want to add the books to her classroom library.

Sometimes having a designated spot for school library books helps families keep track of them. This is one of many bookshelves in the Ward household.

Overdue fines and lost books

We do not charge overdue fines for books. However, we do ask that you return books in a timely manner so other students may enjoy them.

Students will be charged for lost books. A book is considered lost if it is out a month past its due date. Please send in a check or cash for the exact amount, and your child's account will be cleared. If the book is found and returned in good condition within a year, the money will be refunded. Please do not buy a book to replace a lost book. We try to limit our collection to library-bound books that are guaranteed by our vendors.
