Official Transcript Requests

Transcript requests for college applications should be made through Naviance or in the Common Application, not by using the form on our website.

Transcripts for college applications will not be released for students to request via Naviance or School Counselors to upload in Common App until September 13th. Colleges require a transcript indicating a student's work in progress therefore transcripts will not be ready until the drop/add period for classes ends and all virtual and dual enrollment classes have been added. This still allows ample time for students to complete applications prior to early decision/action deadlines. Students do not need to wait for this step to begin their application and can even submit their piece of their file prior to transcripts being sent.

Unofficial transcripts can be requested by using this form

College Application FAQ's

Q:What grading scale is used on student transcripts?

A: The SC Uniform Grading Policy uses a 10 point grading scale where the highest GPA is a 6.0.

Q: Is class rank weighted or unweighted?

A: Weighted

Q:What is the Lucy Garrett Beckham High School CEEB code?

A: 410068

Q: How do students request letters of recommendation?

A: If using the Common Application, enter the email for the person giving you a recommendation. They will receive an email prompting them to complete the recommendation. We do not use Naviance for recommendation letters. If you are not using the Common Application, please follow the directions in the school's application regarding letters of recommendation. School Counselors will require that you complete your senior profile prior to writing a recommendation letter. Please remember, student application deadlines are not always recommender and School Counselor deadlines.

Q: What if a college application doesn't list Lucy Beckham High School in its high school's list?

A: Because we are a new school and you are the first person applying there from Beckham, they may need to add us to their list. You should try searching for Lucy Beckham High School AND Lucy Garrett Beckham High School and by using our CEEB code: 410068. If you need assistance with this, please reach out to your School Counselor or the Director of School Counseling for assistance.
