September is National Attendance Awareness Month!
All month long we invite students, families, staff, and community partners to participate in nominating each other for their efforts to Be Here, Be Great: Boots on the Ground. Additional information can be found on this flyer, along with the link to submit nominations. Those nominated may get a special pop-up surprise, so be sure to encourage your school to submit their nominations early!

This is a great opportunity for families to be involved and enjoy math through fun and engaging math problems!
Math Challenge is free and no sign-up is necessary.
All students 3rd to Grade 6th are invited to participate.
There will be 15 challenges during the 2025-2026 school year beginning on September 12, 2025.
Students who submit 12 challenges or more will be recognized at the end of the school year.
Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage.

Please join us for a day of fun and football at The Citadel vs. Valdosta State game on October 11th! We are offered discounted tickets as a group. Tickets cost 26.50 with fees included. The purchase deadline is October 4th at 11:59 PM. We will be in the bleachers and any child above the age of 3 needs a ticket. Wear a Buist shirt and join the fun!
Friday, September 12 was our first Club Day for this year. It was great! Students were so excited to be in their clubs. A HUGE thank you to all families who helped us by purchasing wishlist items. We appreciate it!

If your 8th-grade student plans to take the PSAT in the fall, please use this link to pay for the test.
This test will be used to identify SC Junior Scholars.
Testing is optional. A limited amount of test fee waivers are available to students who qualify. Contact Mr. Conyers if financial assistance is needed.

Bus Riders
FirstView registration for the 25-26 school year will be available starting July 21, 2025. This year's code is: N6G3F
New Users- Download the FirstView App-Download the FirstView® Parent App Go to firstviewapp.com or find FirstView® in the App Store or Google Play. Follow the instructions to download the app to your smartphone.
Current Users-FirstView has been updated. You will need to add your students and routes that you were previously tracking.

Car Riders
Buist has a number dismissal system. Please make sure your child's number is visible through your driver's side windshield. Your student will receive a new number each year. Do not use your student's old number.
The car rider line will start to move faster after the first week or two of school. All students should be picked up by 3:20 pm.
