Congratulations to Buist Academy for receiving Excellent overall ratings on both their elementary and middle school SC School Report Cards.

Congratulations to the Royal Fun Run logo design contest winner, Katja Berrouet.
The Buist Academy Foundation has kicked off the largest fundraising campaign of the year. The fundraising concludes with students participating in the Buist Academy Royal Fun Run on Friday, October 20.
The event will be held at Tiedemann Park, where students will run/dance/walk, take a class photo, and enjoy Kona Ice provided by the Buist Foundation. We are all excited to show our school spirit.
The school-wide fundraising goal is $50,000!
The Royal Fun Run will be held during school hours (9 am - 12 pm) on October 20th and every child can participate.

○ 11:00- 11:50 am 7th & 8th grades

Please remind students to check lost and found daily. We have many lost items for Quarter 1 that need to be found. Parents are welcome to check lost and found before and after school. These items will be donated on Friday, November 10.
Basketball Tryouts for 5th-8th Grades
Thank you to all those who indicated interest in coaching and/or their child playing in a winter or spring sport. We will hold basketball evaluations/tryouts for Grades 5-8 the week of October 23. The dates are below and students must attend both dates (where applicable). If you haven't heard from the coach for the team yet, please reach out to let him/her know your child is interested.

Congratulations to the 8th 8th-grade girls' Volleyball teams and the Boys' volleyball team on making the playoffs.
Please consider coming out to support our volleyball teams this week.
The 8th grade Blue team plays Tuesday, 10/17, at 6:30 p.m. at Bees Landing Recreation Center.
The 8th grade White team plays Wednesday, 10/18, at 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Town Hall gym.
The boys' team plays on Wednesday, 10/18, at 6:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Town Hall gym, with the finals being played immediately after at 7:30 p.m.
Should our Lady Knights advance to the finals, those games will be held on Thursday, 10/19, at 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Town Hall gym.
