Lost and Found

Please remind students to check lost and found daily. We have many lost items for Quarter 1 that need to be found. Parents are welcome to check lost and found before and after school. These items will be donated on Friday, November 18.

Two More School Days!

UPDATE: We have 2 more days to collect! We won't let e-learning days set us back! As of Wednesday, Nov. 9, Valdivia was in the lead, with Neu House close behind! Keep bringing in donations! Tuesday at the end of school is our last chance to get donations! Thanks to all of our Houses for doing a great job giving back to our local community!

At Buist Academy, we firmly believe in taking action in our local and global communities. From November 1-15, homeroom classes will collect canned food items that will be donated to the Lowcountry Food Bank. This is a school-wide community service project and HOUSE CHALLENGE!

These are the items they need the most:

  • Canned tuna and meats

  • Low-sugar cereals

  • Baby food

  • Peanut butter

  • Whole grain rice, pasta, and oats

  • 100% fruit juice

  • Low-sodium soups and stews

  • Canned fruits and vegetables

Students earn house points for each item donated!!!

Fine Arts At Buist Academy

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support of the Arts at Buist Academy. On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 6:00 PM we will be holding our Holiday Concert and Art Walk.

Musical performances will take place in the Buist Gymnatorium featuring the 3rd and 4th-grade recorder groups, 5th-grade ukuleles, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade steel drum groups in that order. We will also hear from our Buist Academy stings orchestra.

There will even be a sneak preview of our upcoming musical Frozen. All performers need to be dressed in holiday attire and in the music room by 5:45 PM.

Student artwork from all grades will be on display on the first floor and in the media center.

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we anticipate an enjoyable evening for all.
