House Cup Winner

Our House Competition was very close this year!

We would like to congratulate VALDIVIA for being the House Cup Champion for 2022-2023.

The second-place house was only behind by 31 points. White Heron came in second place, and Red Fort was in third place.

Thank you all for earning points by demonstrating the R.I.T.E. Stuff and participating in House Challenges and Color War Days.

Last Chance Yearbooks!

We have a handful of yearbooks left for purchase. Availability is first come, first serve. Cash or check to Buist Academy for $45. Students need to see Ms. Chandler to purchase.

3rd Grade Lemonade Day

Third grade students learned how communities around the world are influenced by human choices by making their own business! After making business decisions like product choice, add-ons, and advertising, the students secured small business loans from Buist teachers and staff.  After a very successful lemonade day, the students paid back their small business loans and were able to donate $2,348 to local, national, and international charities of their choice! We are so proud of their philanthropic endeavors!

Exciting Camp Opportunity at Buist

Come and practice with Coach Anthony Crawley, former assistant coach for Coastal Carolina University and current club volleyball coach. Camp will be held June 26 - 28, 2023 at the Buist gym from 9am - 3pm, the cost is $150/student.  We need a minimum of 16 campers to hold this camp. Please note that the current camp cost does not include gym rental, that will be split among the number of players who have registered and will max out at $50/camper.

Final Fun Run Rewards!

On Friday, May 19, Buist Academy faculty, staff, and students had the opportunity to celebrate the end of state testing with an afternoon filled with fun!

There was a student vs. teacher noodle hockey game! A few brave teachers were also covered in silly string. These were all Royal Fun Run prizes for reaching our fundraising goals.

Thanks to everyone for making this a fun and exciting day for our students!
