All members of the Buist learning community will participate in a virtual, 3-day visit from IB experts. A team of PYP and MYP experts will engage in conversations with leadership, teachers, students, and parents. In addition, they will virtually conduct classroom visits with the IB Programme Coordinator, Ms. Lyle.
Your teachers put hard work, time, and energy into preparations. They reflected on our current practices and drafted action plans depicting how we imagine the future at Buist Academy. These documents, along with the conversations and classroom visits will help our team of experts create a plan for Buist moving forward. We look forward to participating in this virtual program evaluation process and growing from the resulting feedback in the coming years. Thank you for your support!

Congratulations to the Buist Navy Soccer Team: Middle School Soccer League Champions! The only team they didn't beat was the Buist Gold Team (their game ended in an OT tie)! Both teams had GREAT seasons, and we are very proud of our Soccer Knights! Thank you Coach Laura and Coach David!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found
Please remind students to check lost and found daily. We have many lost items for Quarter 3 that need to be found. Parents are welcome to check lost and found before and after school. These items will be donated on Friday, April 12.
As of Monday, March 25th, we have:
102 articles of clothing (jackets, sweaters & sweatshirts; pants, skirts & shirts, hats & gloves)
36 water bottles
3 lunch boxes and containers
other misc. items (too numerous to count)
The Buist Library is having a fundraiser through Follett. It will be from March 18th until the 29th. Our school-wide goal is $8000 and the money will only be used for library books. This link will go live on the 18th.
The Buist Academy Literati Book Fair is from March 25th until the 29th. The Fair will be open during Curriculum Night. Our school rewards program is also with Follett and rewards will be used for library books and makerspace items.
