Summer Office Hours: Monday-Thursday from 7:30-4:30. Offices are closed on Friday.
Occasionally, the office will be closed throughout the summer. Please call in advance to ensure someone is available to assist you.

After a blessed career, I have decided to retire after 30 years of teaching, counseling, and administration. I want to express my sincerest gratitude to Ms. White, Buist families, and our Faculty and Staff. What a privilege to end my career in such a special place! It has been a true honor to serve you and the students at Buist.
Thank you for your kind words, encouragement, understanding, and for trusting us with your precious children. This is not goodbye but see you later.

If your rising 4th-8th grade student is not returning to Buist Academy for the 2024-2025 school year, please complete the school and CCSD withdrawal forms.
Do not complete these forms if:
you have accepted a seat at another CCSD choice/magnet school
your student was in the 8th grade and will be attending another CCSD school

Save the Date: 2024 First Day Festival
Save the date for the City of Charleston's annual First Day Festival on Sunday, August 11, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Charleston Gaillard Center to kick off the new school year. The event will feature school supply giveaways, community resource information, free tours of the SC Aquarium, a Kids Zone, and more. Please see the flyer for additional details.
