The Buist Academy Wellness Club would like to invite everyone to participate in this year's Walk to School Day. This event is designed to promote several initiatives, such as safety for students who walk to and from school, a cleaner environment due to fewer auto emissions, and a healthier/more active lifestyle.

Come get some of your daily steps in with us THIS Friday, December 9th. Anyone interested will meet Mr. Crosby at Gadsdenboro Park starting at 7:15. The walk will begin at 7:40. Our path will take us down Calhoun St. Parents are welcome to join us on our journey to school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please no bike riders for this event.

Please help us spread holiday cheer to the Buist faculty and staff. We will be providing them with coffee and doughnuts, a boxed lunch, and a holiday gift card raffle. The teachers will enjoy these festivities during the week of Dec. 12th.

Kids on Point is a FREE, year-round program that aims to provide students in grades 3rd -12th with a variety of experiences and support.

Fine Arts Extravaganza

When: Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Doors open at 5:30 for the Art Walk. Student artwork from all grades will be on display on the first floor and in the media center.

All performers need to arrive by 5:45 in festive seasonal attire or colors.

The holiday music program begins at 6:00 in the Buist gym.

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we anticipate an enjoyable evening for all.

Please bring in New/Unused Books, Comic Books, Sudoku Books, or Crossword Puzzles.

Each House has a goal of 50 books to collect with a school goal of 350.

Points will be awarded as follows:

1-13 books-25 points

14-26 books-50 points

27-39 books-75 points

40-49 books-100 points

House Goal-50 or more-250 points!
