It is our pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome as we begin the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking forward to an exciting and productive year filled with learning and growing.
Each year we have a school-wide theme to help bring our school community together. Our star continues to shine bright as an excellent school filled with great people. We are rolling out the red carpet with a Lights, Camera, Action (It's Showtime) school theme!

Please enter through the Anson St. doors located on the side of the building, near the Gaillard Center.
Teacher assignments will be communicated at fact-and-fee.
Elementary teachers will send a welcome email prior to fact-and-fee.
Middle school schedules will be available on August 17 at fact-and-fee.
If you are not able to attend fact-and-fee, you may pick up your child's schedule from August 18-August 22 in the front office. These dates are only to pick up schedules.

Instructional and technology fees cover a wide variety of instructional costs including but not limited to workbooks, agendas, computer hardware replacement, scholastic readers, online instructional programs, classroom supplies, copy paper, and select field trips. As funds are depleted, teachers may make donation requests later in the academic year.

The Buist Academy Foundation serves as the parent-teacher organization (PTO) for Buist Academy. There are no fees to join. All parents are a part of the Buist Foundation. We appreciate your support through generous donations and acts of service.
Your help is needed for the 2023-2024 school year. Take an active role in the school community, and consider joining a Buist Academy Foundation committee. More volunteer opportunities are coming soon.
Our goal is to dismiss students in a safe and timely manner. We have a number dismissal system. Please make sure your child's number is visible through your driver's side windshield.
The car rider line will start to move faster after the first week or two of school. All students should be picked up by 3:20.
Please respect fellow Buist families and the surrounding community by following the correct car rider procedures.

Do Not Block the George St. 3-way stop or the Menotti St. entrance.
Review the car rider map. Following this route helps to ensure the safety of our school community and gives respect to our neighbors by not blocking driveways on George St. or intersections.
