April is Diversity Awareness Month- Diversity Month started in 2004 and is a time to reflect and celebrate the differences within all of us to gain an authentic respect for how our own culture impacts the experiences of others. Throughout April, you have the opportunity to take real action with some creative ideas for celebrating various cultures and communities.

Online enrollment for the upcoming school year is now available! Please be on the lookout for an email from PowerSchool Enrollment.
You will use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the Registration.
All students must register.
For returning students this includes providing information updates and providing residency verification.
Magnet students must submit residency verification documentation by June 30, 2025.
Parents are able to complete the information updates and upload documents through the parent portal.
ALL required residency documents must be uploaded or provided to the school as a packet.
Returning students will be considered conditionally enrolled until residency documentation is received.
Below are the various testing dates coming up. Students will be asked to keep Chromebooks at school to ensure they are properly charged. Encourage your students to do their best, get a good night's rest, and eat a filling breakfast before each test.

149 articles of clothing (jackets, sweaters & sweatshirts; pants, skirts & shirts ... hats & gloves)

All parents and guardians of students in grades K-12 are invited to complete the 2025 South Carolina Parent and Guardian School Climate Survey. The purpose of this survey administration is to best address the needs of your child and family and foster a more successful and positive learning environment. The survey data collected contributes to reporting in the annual state report card for each school.
This survey closes on Friday, April 11, 2025.
On February 25, an email was sent to parents and guardians from ccsdschools@charleston.k12.sc.us that includes instructions on how to access the survey in Parent Portal (https://ccsdschools.powerschool.com/public) through your internet browser or the PowerSchool Mobile App.
