Volleyball Next Fall?
We are starting to organize our volleyball teams for next fall and we would love to have your student participate. The school volleyball season typically starts after Labor Day and finishes in mid-October. Last year, we found it helpful to organize in the spring and run a few practices before school gets out. The tentative plan is to run some practices beginning April 21st, based on gym and coach availability. This sport is open to girls & boys in 5th - 8th grades. Last year, every grade had a girls’ team, and the boys' team was a mixture of grade levels.
We are assuming next year will follow a similar format, and teams will be based on the number of students interested, the number of available coaches, and players' abilities. Meaning if we have too many students interested (the city's limit is 12 players/team) and too few available coaches, then we will have "try-outs".
If your student is interested in playing volleyball next fall, please fill out this form.
