It is Girl Scout Cookie Season and our school troop would love to have your support. They are offering free contactless delivery of all cookies, right to your front door. Just order online at https://DigitalCookie.GirlScouts.org/scout/troop3008-376 and they will take care of the rest!
Cookie sales are the scouts' main fundraiser for the year. The money raised supports all types of activities such as cooking & sewing classes, virtual badge opportunities, camping trips, and for our Junior Scouts, their bronze award project. Credit for cookies ordered through this link is divided equally among the troop. Thank you for your support!
The Buist Academy Foundation is grateful to all the students, parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff for collectively helping keep our school open for the majority of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we all know, Buist has fared well, relative to other schools and school districts, in remaining open and containing case numbers.
However, as the rates of COVID-19 continue to fluctuate throughout Charleston and South Carolina, it is imperative that we remain vigilant in our public health efforts to curb the ongoing spread of the virus, within and outside the school. This includes socially distancing at all times, wearing a mask, and practicing good hand hygiene. Although these collective sacrifices are difficult to endure, with safe and effective vaccines in deployment, we should be coming toward the other side of this pandemic. Together we can successfully keep our school safe and functioning, which is paramount to our children’s education and well-being.
Thank you again for your ongoing commitment and sacrifices in keeping COVID-19 under control.
