Mathcounts ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathcounts ) is the nation's premier middle-school math competition. This year Buist will participate in a first-time, experimental way.
The Chapter competition will take place at 9 am on February 28, 2025, Friday at The Citadel. If enough students are interested, Buist will send a team of four students (8th or 7th graders) to compete.
There will be a $20 registration fee for each of the four students who are selected for the Buist team.
Interested 7th and 8th-grade students are encouraged to participate. Practice and training will be provided. Parents are asked to provide a certain
level of support.
