Check your email for your scholar's report card. If you have not received a report card by November 30, please contact the school. If you have questions or concerns about your child's grades, please contact his or her teacher to schedule a conference.
November 23- e-Learning (All students learning independently from home.) Students must complete attendance check assignment(s).
November 24- Teacher Workday/No Students
November 25-27- Fall Holiday/No School
Transportation (Bus Information):
Buist's school code is MRM7.
Due to bus capacity limitations, we will not be able to provide bus passes for student not assigned to ride a particular bus.
Principal's Message
As we celebrate this season of thanks and gratitude, I would like to thank each of you for your support. We are grateful for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this school year. We are also thankful that you have kept trust and confidence in us to care for and educate your children. Thank you for being advocates and partners in the education, safety, and well-being of our school community.
I would also like to thank the dedicated and hard-working faculty and staff for going above and beyond to make sure that great things continue to happen in our school. They make a difference, and our students benefit from those efforts.
Although this year looks different, the true essence of excellence continues to live throughout our Buist Academy community. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Ms. Chandler-Parent Educator at Buist Academy
My name is Jill Chandler and I am the Parent Educator and 8th-grade Counselor at Buist Academy. This is my 21st year in education. I love working with students and families in order to help students be the best they can be. I am extremely excited to be a part of the family of Buist!
As the year progresses, we are trying to find new ways to include families of students in our daily schedule, even through the COVID-19 restrictions. As the Parent Educator, I am working on ways for our community to see more of what students do on a daily basis. Please visit our Instagram and Twitter feeds to see highlights of events at Buist. In addition, be sure to read The Knightly News as more events are being added and shared.
We are planning a virtual holiday concert so parents can still be a part of our productions. I also will assist the Buist Foundation with some of the projects they support. I look forward to working with all of you in order to provide engaging opportunities for our Buist community.
Magical Moments!
Career Awareness Week at Buist Academy!
Students watched video clips each day this week that highlighted a different career. Counselors taught lessons that focused on career exploration. Staff members shared the colleges each attended and students could view it on a map posted in the hallway. Students and staff wore college colors or shirts on Friday.
