The mission of James Simons Montessori School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that educates and empoweres all students while embracing their differences. In partnership with administrators, teachers, parents and key stakeholders, school counselors provide a continuum of support for academic achievement, career and college exploration, and social/emotional development.

Meet the Counselor
I'm thrilled to be entering my third year at JSM! I believe that every student deserves to feel supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential, and that's what I strive to provide every day. Prior to joining JSM, I worked at West Ashley High School and Alexander Central High School (NC). I attended Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I also played soccer—Go Bears!
I'm passionate about supporting young people both in and out of school, which is why I coach varsity soccer at WAHS and volunteer with Girls on the Run. In my free time, you'll find me at the beach or with friends enjoying all that Charleston has to offer.
I look forward to supporting you this year!
