Need help getting started on a project or just looking to read some good books online? You've come to the right place! Take a look at the resources below. Several resources are organized by grade level to help you. These resources are helpful whether you are trying to do research, explore new books, or engage in interactive activities.
Clever: The Clever portal is your "one stop shop" for many of the resources we use at JME. Login with your school username and password to access many helpful resources.
MackinVIA: MackinVIA has an extensive list of databases and resources. This is a great place to start when doing research. You can also find eBooks and audiobooks, too! You can access MackinVIA through your Clever portal.
Sora: Sora is a collection of audiobooks and eBooks connected to Charleston County Public Library's collection. You can access Sora through your Clever portal.
myON: MyON has a large collection of eBooks for you to read. You are sure to find some books you are interested in! MyON is accessible through your Clever portal.
Epic!: Epic! has a large collection of eBooks and audiobooks for you to read. You can access Epic! through the login provided from your teacher.
Learn360: Learn360 has educational videos, audio, maps, games, and interactive STEM lessons. You can access Learn360 through your Clever portal.
SC Discus Kids: SC Discus Kids is a great place to start when you are doing research. You'll find many databases to choose from.
Kiddle: Kiddle is a search engine for kids! Use this site to search anything that you are curious about.
Paraphrasing: Watch this video on Study.com to learn how to paraphrase when doing research. You want to avoid plagiarism!
BrainPOP Jr.: BrainPOP Jr. has educational videos about a variety of topics. Each video has corresponding quizzes, activities, and games to go with the topic. You can access BrainPOP Jr. through your Clever portal.
PebbleGo: PebbleGo is an excellent website to use for research. You can find facts about a lot of interesting topics! You can access PebbleGo through our school login (provided by your teacher).

PebbleGo Next: PebbleGo Next is an excellent website to use when doing research about famous people. You'll find many biographies! You can access PebbleGo Next by scrolling down on the SC Discus Kids page.
ZoteroBib: This website is an easy citation generator for you to use. Make sure you check the citations closely because you may need to tweak them.
