Using online citation machines
(these will be slightly different depending on which you use; citations in google docs are under Add-ons but tend to be incomplete)
Pull up your site in a new tab
Keep the webpage you're working on up in another tab
COPY the URL (web address in the address bar at the top of the page) and paste it into the search box, make sure you are searching for a web site
Hit CITE THIS!, then hit CONTINUE when the next screen pops up
Look for the following items to complete the citation:
author credited with writing the article
publisher of the website
date of the article (this is NOT the copyright of the website).
Hit CREATE CITATION when information is verified. CUT/PASTE this citation for your Works Cited.
This is supposed to integrate with the Google suite of apps and seems to be pretty easy and good.
