The MLA Formatting and Style Guide offers examples for the general format of MLA research papers, in-text citations, endnotes/footnotes, and the Works Cited page.

Using online citation machines 

(these will be slightly different depending on which you use; citations in google docs are under Add-ons but tend to be incomplete)

This is supposed to integrate with the Google suite of apps and seems to be pretty easy and good.

How to cite NoveList Plus

*Reviewer’s name and the title of the review (if given).

*Then write Rev. of Title of the Work, by author.

*Next add the name of the periodical and the rest of the publication information.

*Conclude the entry with the database information and access date.
