Education Background:

This will be Mrs. Brisini's eleventh year in education. After her first year of teaching in the chilly midwest, she moved to Charleston in search of warmer weather. She taught in the English Department and advised the Student Council at Wando before becoming an Instructional Coach and later an Assistant Principal. She looks forward to continuing to build positive relationships and ensuring all students find a home at Wando in order to help them succeed.

Personal Background:

Mrs. Brisini met her husband, Jason Brisini, three doors down the hallway during her first year at Wando! He works at the CCSD district office as a Social Studies Content Facilitator. They have a two daughters, Nora and Clara, and they are the light of their lives!

Outside Interests:

• Traveling to new destinations is Mrs. Brisini's family's favorite way to spend time together; they love to put a new pin on their family map when they return home.

• Mrs. Brisini is also a part-time Wedding Coordinator, and she absolutely loves making couples' dream weddings come true! 

• Mrs. Brisini is a huge dog lover and will most likely ask to see pictures of your dogs. She has fostered 30 rescue puppies over the past few years and would have kept them all if her husband allowed it! She at least convinced him to adopt two, and their names are Betty and Rita.
