Teaching Background: I taught for 12 years in DeKalb County, Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Charleston.  I started teaching at Wando in 2005.

Hometown: Atlanta, GA 

Family: I have a son, Nevin, finishing college this year, and two cats, Squib and Sushi. 

Outside Interests: For the last two years I have been working with glass. Both fusing glass to create art and flamework to create artifacts to incorporate into that art. I attend 3 - 6 hours of class each week and work another 6 - 12 hours outside of class.
