Educational Background:

Before teaching at East Cooper CAS, Jeremias was an assistant professor of photography and program head at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT, where he taught in and developed their photography program from the ground up. At this time, Jeremias also served as the Society for Photographic Education's Southwest Regional Chair, where he coordinated regional members and conferences.  Before teaching in the Southwest, Jeremias spent a year teaching high school outreach photography programs in Boston, MA through Boston University's Photographic Resource Center.

Family:

Jeremias is married to the love of his life, Rachel. They live, together with their  two fantastic children, Abbie and Caleb, and a Mediterranean house gecko named Beans, in West Ashley.

Outside Interests:

When not spending time in the woods or on the beach with his family,  Jeremias likes to spend time riding his bike on long, grueling dirt roads.
