Theme: "Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future". MMA will highlight the importance of recognizing the contributions and history of Hispanic and Latine communities while looking ahead to how they will continue to shape the future.

CCSD Policy Reminders
1. Parents, if your child is vomiting, they are to remain home until 24 hours without vomiting has passed.
2. Students with a fever of 100.0 or higher may not return to school until 24 hours without fever has passed and they are not taking fever-reducing medication. Please submit a written parent note or medical note to our office staff to explain absence(s).
3. Do not allow or encourage your students to carry over the counter medications to school. Only life saving medications with a doctor's order on file are permitted.

a. Seniors will meet with with counselors this week, JR Cadet IGP Meetings will begin this week. IGP meetings can be attended via "in-person, Zoom, or phone"
b. MMA Counselor Canvas page is operable and weekly scholarships are being posted.

a. JROTC cadets please make sure your Blue and Grey uniform is complete and fits. (See 1SG Mitchell for replacement and exchange uniform pieces).
b. JROTC is hosting a canned food drive to support "Neighbors Together Now" through Nov. 15. Boxes are placed in the main entrance, library, culinary lab and various classrooms.
c. MMA Inaugural Drill Meet October 25, 2025. All HS Black Shirts are required to attend and support.
d. ASVAB will be administered on December 10, 2025. 10th - 12th grade cadets to participate in testing.

SEAT TIME notification reminders are being prepared. Seat-Time Hours - FR/SO cadet contracts will be given out in homeroom this week.
Both parents and cadets must sign and return contracts to the Data Specialist as soon as possible so cadets may begin working on their hours
1. Parents, please note: There has been an increase in families not submitting the correct and/or required documentation on time. This negatively impacts your cadet and may result in Seat Time obligations and/or Truancy concerns.
Early Release Protocol: Families must follow the designated early release procedure and form. Classrooms will not be interrupted to retrieve cadets.
Absence Documentation: Parent notes and Medical excuses need to be submitted on the correct form within 72 hours of the absence to excuse the absence.Emails and Phone calls are NOT legal excuses for absences or early pickup.
Tardiness Concerns: Unexcused tardiness places families at risk for Attendance Interventions, and may lead to a recommendation for your cadet’s return to their homeschool. (CCSD provided transportation delays are excused.)

Parents, student fees are due. Cash Payments can be made between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Preferrably it is more efficient for you to continue making payments via “RevTrak” - Under the "Los materials, late payments tab" and/or by money order.
