a. Cadets must have an emergency card on file to participate in school-sponsored field trips.
b. 7th graders must have a Tdap vaccine on file. Please submit an updated SC Immunization Certificate or the Pediatrician or Health Department appointment date and time. If you choose the health department, call the SC DHEC Appointment Line at 1-855-472-3432.
CCSD Policy Reminders
1. Parents, if your child is vomiting, they are to remain home until 24 hours without vomiting has passed.
2. Students with a fever of 100.0 or higher may not return to school until 24 hours without fever has passed and they are not taking fever-reducing medication. Please submit a written parent note or medical note to our office staff to explain absence(s).
3. Do not allow or encourage your students to carry over the counter medications to school. Only life saving medications with a doctor's order on file are permitted.

SEAT TIME notification reminders are being prepared. Seat-Time Hours - If you still have state-required seat time hours.
They are waiting on you to complete them! Seat Time Contracts will be issued in the next 7 days to those with outstanding Seat Time. Please return your Contract to me as swiftly as possible in order to be assigned a proctor to complete your time.
1. Parents, please check your emails and our school media platforms for information regarding remaining registration corrections.
2. All medical excuses and/or notes should be signed, dated, and submitted within 3 days (72 hours) after the absence to be excused. Emails and Phone calls are NOT legal excuses for absences or early pickup.
3. Stakeholders please complete the correct Early Pick-up and Absence forms Classes will not be interrupted to call scholars out of class. Cadets will not be dismissed between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m. as we prepare for our end of day procedures. All families will need to fill out the new Blue dismissal student ledger form.

Parents, student fees are due. Cash Payments can be made between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Preferrably it is more efficient for you to continue making payments via “RevTrak” and by money order.
Please contact Ms. Kennedy with any questions or concerns.
Student drivers: You will need to register your vehicle via a Parking pass applications with Ms. Kennedy. Student vehicles parked at Chicora without a pass will be towed. Please be mindful that your vehicle is subject to CCSD Policy JIH - Student interrogations, searches, and arrests.
