The CRMS School Counseling Program is data driven and student focused. Three broad domains of student development will guide the school counseling program: Academic, College/Career, and Social/Emotional.

Mission

At Camp Road Middle School our school counseling mission is to empower every student to achieve academic success, personal growth, and social-emotional well-being in a safe and inclusive environment. Guided by the principles of the American School Counselor Association, we are committed to fostering equity and access for all students, celebrating diversity, and promoting a culture of respect and understanding. Through collaborative partnerships with students, educators,  families, and the community, we strive to provide comprehensive counseling programs that address the unique needs of each learner. By promoting advocacy, leadership, and lifelong learning skills, we prepare our students to become responsible citizens and successful contributors to a global society.

Vision

At Camp Road Middle School  our vision is to develop a dynamic school counseling program that embodies the American School Counselor Association's domains, mindsets, and standards. We envision a community where each student is empowered to excel academically, explore meaningful career pathways, and achieve social-emotional growth.

Aligned with ASCA's Academic, Career, and Social-Emotional Development domains, our counselors are committed to providing comprehensive support that nurtures students' academic achievement, fosters career exploration, and enhances interpersonal skills. Through evidence-based practices and innovative programming, we cultivate an environment where students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for success in school and beyond.

Our counseling program promotes equity and inclusivity, ensuring that every student has access to personalized support and resources. Embracing ASCA Mindsets such as growth mindset, self-efficacy, and resilience, we empower students to set ambitious goals, persevere through challenges, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning.

We uphold ASCA Standards of ethical behavior, professionalism, and collaboration, forging strong partnerships with educators, families, and community stakeholders to support student success.
