Scheduling

CCSD Remote Learning

It is helpful for students to remain on a schedule to promote learning at home. Below are some ideas to help your family create a schedule to keep students engaged and productive.

Tips for learning at home

Create a learning space in your home where your child can focus and have access to the learning tools they may need including:

    • Pencils, crayons, markers

    • Paper, learning packets

    • Books, workbooks, flash cards

    • Charged mobile device

Include break times

    • Students can focus on a task for 10-30 minutes depending on age

Motivate your child to complete learning activities

    • Provide rewards for completing work

    • Create a checklist and celebrate as tasks are checked off

Give choices on how to complete work

    • For example, let children choose the order of the tasks

Build in time for play and exercise
