Mission Statement
Buist Academy School Counseling program aims to provide an inclusively safe learning environment while focusing on improving student social and emotional well being as well as academic and career readiness. We foster a positive sense of belonging and interdependence as we instill empathy, compassion and respect amongst our culturally diverse backgrounds.
Vision Statement
All students at Buist Academy for Advanced Studies are ambitious and uniquely strong learners. We incorporate the South Carolina Graduate profile by engaging in critical thinking and problem solving in preparation for their career and college readiness within our global community.

develop relationships with students through individual, small group and classroom guidance to promote attendance, academic success, peer/social positive communication, and students' overall social/emotional well being.
Our ultimate goal is to work with students, parents (guardians), school staff and stakeholders to help develop students' personal/social, academic and career readiness in order to promote and nurture successful caring citizens in our society.
