Teaching Background:
I began teaching in 2004 in Kansas City, Missouri. After 8 years teaching, my family moved to Tampa, FL where I became a stay-at-home mom for another 8 years. During that time we also moved to Ankeny, IA and here to Mount Pleasant, SC. I returned to the classroom here at Wando in 2021 and really enjoy my students and colleagues.
Hometown: Warrensburg, MO
Personal Background:
My husband Andrew and I are very excited to live in the Lowcountry. We, along with our two children, love our neighborhood and Mount Pleasant as the proximity to downtown and the beaches offer so much to do! We also have two dogs, a Great Pyrenees and a Cockapoo.
Outside Interests:
We love to cheer for our hometown teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and River Dogs Baseball. My kids play soccer so many weekends are filled with games. Disney is always a yearly highlight and traveling to new places!
