Student Expectations

Bengal Flex is time to be used productively where students should be focused, be engaged with school work, and be aware of rules, procedures, & expectations.

When attending Bengal Flex, students should do the following: 

Upon Arrival, Students Should:

1. Arrive at 3:45 to the Media Center

   • If coming late from a teacher and/or coach, please provide a pass from the teacher and/or coach.

2. Have their school ID or a temporary ID

3. Sign in with teacher at the entrance of the Media Center

4. Once signed in, the teacher will do/ask the following:

   • What are you working on today?

   • How can we help?

   • The teacher will identify what area of the Media Center you are to work.

5. Sit in assigned area & begin working

While Working, Students Should Know:

1. Teachers will be floating around to check in with students. They may ask:

   • What are you working on?

   • How can we help today?

   • Can I see your Canvas courses?

   • Can I see your PowerSchool?

2. Whomever signed you in will be able to access students' PowerSchool if needed. Students can ask for this assistance throughout Bengal Flex.

3. There is a quiet & monitored testing room available when students need to take a test or quiz. 

4. If you EVER need something, please ask the teachers. They are there to help!

When Leaving, Students Should:

1. Throw away any trash they may have

2. Make sure they have all of their belongings

3. Check out with the teacher who signed them in
