In an effort to increase school-wide attendance and academic achievement, the CCSD Attendance/Truancy Project Team is asking for everyone to support the LET’S GET ENGAGED! attendance campaign reminding students, families, and community partners that every day counts. This year-long effort will only be successful with your support. School success starts with attendance!
Students will be made aware of their Buist House assignment on Friday, August 27, 2021. The parent letter is linked here and explains the Buist House System, how points are rewarded, and the purpose of the system.
This year we have a place where parents can find out information, make requests, donate, and follow links beneficial to parenting. Click here to access. The clear expectation from the CCSD Board of Trustees is that all staff, students, and visitors wear facemasks inside school facilities until at least October 15, 2021, in order to help slow the spread of COVID. Masks are also required on school buses. We expect everyone to comply with the mask requirement.
We also expect the district and school administration to fully implement this requirement without denying any student access to school and their education.
- Rev. Dr. Eric Mack, CCSD Board of Trustees Chair
