The Dome

In 2021, students in Environmental Science at the Academy at Charlemont collaborated with students in Geometry to design and build a 24-foot wide geodesic dome trellis. Using hand tools, materials harvested from the campus grounds, and fruit vines that will nourish future Academy community members, students created a green gathering space that will serve the future Academy community as a living homage to sustainability and community.
