The very first thing is to make sure any volunteers and team members understand WHY they take part in Charity Week.
The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended…” [Bukhari and Muslim]
This will keep them going when times get tough and they can sell it to many more volunteers too.
A motivated team = A successful project.
Rep/-Vice-Rep
Team leader for the project at your Institution Liaises with the Regional team for resources and support Inspires and motivates the team
General Secretary
Manages the day to day functioning of the team Manages the resources (buckets, t-shirts, posters etc)
Events Lead
Overlooks the different events taking place for quality control Coordinates all the volunteers between the different events
Marketing Lead
Promotes the vision on campus/in your locality Communicates with Regional marketing for social media resources
Finance Lead
Responsible for cash flow at the institution Liaises with the Regional finance team on tracking donations
Stalls Manager
Responsible for overlooking stalls
Including making a rota (How to make a rotas: online using Google docs / forms or a simple table printed out) and getting people signed up to operate/ donate items to sell etc
Sponsors Rep
Contact companies for sponsorship to help run events
Start early, make a sponsors pack that you can send to companies and local shops
Speak to plenty of food companies about providing the dinner at your main event
Explain how you can help them with advertising to your student body
Collections Officer
Overlooks sign-ups to collections and makes rotas.
Learns rules and guidelines
Specific Year Reps
If you have (need) the volunteers to do so, these individuals will help spread the word in their year and give lecture shout-outs about events
Specialised Events Officer
This individual would be responsible for organizsng the bigger events that require more work
Sponsored Events Coordinator
Responsible for planning sponsored events, booking transport/venues and getting people signed up
