Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Due to the size of our school and to ensure safety for all of our students, we have very specific arrival and dismissal routines.  See below.  

Drop Off line Etiquette:

1. Buckle your child on the passenger side of the back seat. When you do this it will allow your child to just unbuckle and jump out. This also eliminates you having to get out of your car.

2. Place your child’s backpack on the seat/floor near them.

3. Before heading off to school, talk to your child about how he/she will exit your vehicle by showing them the move called “the jump and close”. It’s a swift jump out of the car and a swipe of the arm to shut the door. 

4. Once your child is safely on the sidewalk, wave, smile and drive off into your day!  Thank you for making drop off quick, smooth and safe.

Remember if you park the car, you should be using the crosswalk to get to the West Entrance (by the flag) sidewalk.  This is for everyone’s safety!!
