President
Juliana is a senior majoring in Computer Science and Film Production. She joined GWC to be part of a community that supports collegiate women in tech, and really loved the mission of the organization. Her goals for this year are to expand the club to reach new members, creating a greater sense of community within our college. She also wanted to host more professional development events to kick-start members’ careers.
Vice President
Kaitlynn is a senior Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics! As a transfer student, Kaitlynn joined GWC in hopes of helping further build a community of supportive women in STEM here at Chapman. In her free time, Kaitlynn loves going to concerts and finding new music!
Secretary
Leah Zahn is a junior majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Computer Science. She loves to read, learned how to crochet during the pandemic, and made many little crochet animals! This semester, she is also an SI and a member of Tri-Beta, ACS, and SSLC and has done computational organic chemistry research with Dr. Ogba.
Marketing Chair
Gabriela is a senior majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Computer Engineering. She joined Girls Who Code to provide a community for women interested in tech at Chapman University to grow and encourage each to succeed in the field. After graduation, she hopes to work at a tech company with a role focused on developing technology that generates direct social impact.
Recruitment Chair
Lena is a senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Data Analytics and is super excited to be Membership Recruitment Chair for Girls Who Code @ Chapman! She first joined Girls Who Code at my high school and loved how supportive the environment was. This club is what encouraged her to pursue her passion in tech and Computer Science and she can’t wait to encourage other girls to do the same. She really hopes to foster a community of girls this semester that support one another socially, academically, and professionally. Outside of school, she loves to bake, cook and attempt to draw!
