If you would like to be considered for a dance only role (no singing required): Jazz/contemporary/lyrical
Please choreograph a short routine to the song ‘When the Chips are Down’ which is the song the three fates sing. It is 2 minutes 13 seconds long. We will adapt the role of the fates to have the fates dancers AND 3 fates singers. Listen to the story of the song when the chips are down means, when things go bad - when a gamble doesn’t pay off.
Here you can see the fates as singers - but you can see the movements and sort of expressive storytelling movement style. Perhaps use this as a starting point for ideas.
I also include a link to the choreographer explaining how he created the storytelling style of movement for the show.

The main aim of the dance audition is to show your creativity and response to the music and for me to see how you move. Try to be brave and have fun! This is an exciting dance opportunity and the emphasis on creativity as we are creating this role.
